The Forge Banner

The Forge Dunedin

“…In your hearts honour Messiah the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who ask you for a reason for the hope that is in you, yet do it with gentleness and respect…” 1 Peter 3:15

The Forge is a weekly apologetics programme that takes place every Sunday from 3.30-5pm at a location in or near Dunedin. Christians and non-Christians are invited, though the primary purpose of The Forge Dunedin is to equip believers, both adults and youth. Participants are encouraged to purchase and read books that correspond to each series.

A number of lecturers and discussion leaders will be involved. The plan is for The Forge Dunedin to run continually throughout 2021.

Tactics | Gregory Koukl | Discussion Leader – Jono Thompson

Where: Mornington Presbyterian Church, 16 Maryhill Terrace, Maryhill, Dunedin

This series, created by Greg Koukl, presents methods of holding conversations with people from other worldviews in a way that is non-offensive and gets people thinking. Explaining easy-to-use tactics and a knowledge of practical logic over the course of 6 sessions, this series will equip you to feel calm and confident to talk to others about their beliefs. As Greg Koukl promises, “I am going to give you a game plan that will allow you to converse with confidence in any situation, no matter how little you know or how knowledgeable or aggressive or even obnoxious the other person might be.”
