Mark Gardiner

Mark grew up on a sheep and beef farm, but has been involved in the Kiwifruit industry since planting his first orchard in 1975.

In 1984, Mark established a post-harvest operation which was re-sited to its current Karapiro site in 2005 to accommodate growth and development specialising in organic production.

Mark has had an ongoing involvement in the kiwifruit industry, serving on grower advocacy body NZKGI since its inception and supply chain group ISG for the last eight years. Mark and his wife Robyn started their own charitable trust, Soul Purpose, in 1999 and Mark has a number of directorship roles, including both Longview Trust and Lichfield Lands.
