Rev Dr Mark J. Keown
Director of Evangelistic Leadership - Laidlaw College
Mark was radically converted in his 20s and is zealous for evangelism. In a ministry career nearly four decades, he has been an evangelist, pastor, children’s and youth worker, preacher, singer-songwriter, author, and lecturer in the New Zealand church. Since 2005, he has taught New Testament at Laidlaw College and is now the Director of Evangelistic Leadership, looking to raise a new generation of evangelistic leaders God can use to renew his church in New Zealand. He has published a number of books and articles on the New Testament, Jesus, the gospel, and evangelism (https://www.laidlaw.ac.nz/staff/dr-mark-keown/). Mark is a passionate and challenging speaker who loves nothing more sharing the gospel and equipping people for apologetics and evangelism. An accomplished musician and songwriter, Mark’s band AllReady Not Yet, is another vehicle through which he preaches the gospel. He is married to the Rev Dr Emma Keown, has three daughters, several grandchildren, and dog and a cat. Mark is competent to speak on any aspect of evangelism and apologetics including those listed below.
